With ‘Bergbahn Unlimited’, you can use the open mountain railways in the Kleinwalsertal and neighbouring Oberstdorf as often as you like during your holiday. This means you can start your day’s hiking without a strenuous climb, enjoy a relaxing trip up the mountain, or simply take in the panoramic views and the fresh mountain air.
The mountain railway ticket is included at the Alpenhof Jäger from May to November.
The Bergbahn Unlimited Ticket
With the Bergbahn Unlimited Ticket, you can enjoy unlimited travel on the open mountain railways in the Oberstdorf and Kleinwalsertal region throughout the summer season. The ticket is added to your Allgäu-Walser Pass for the duration of your stay.
Whether it’s a scenic high-altitude hike, a leisurely family outing or a relaxing mountain journey with a stop for refreshments: with the included cable car ticket, you can tailor every day of your holiday exactly to your liking. The ticket is valid for pedestrians. The carriage of mountain bikes, paragliders and other sports equipment is not included.

How do I get the mountain railway ticket?
You will receive your personal Allgäu-Walser Pass from the Alpenhof Jäger. The guest pass is available digitally via the Allgäu-Walser app. The Mountain Railway Unlimited ticket will be activated on the app for the duration of your stay.
How often can I use the mountain railways?
You can use the open mountain railways as often as you like during your stay. Please note the relevant seasonal and operating times.
Is the mountain railway ticket included at the Alpenhof Jäger?
Yes. From May to November, the Mountain Railway Unlimited ticket is included in the services provided during your summer stay at the Alpenhof Jäger. This applies to both our hotel rooms and our holiday flats.
Which mountain railway is near the hotel?
The Kanzelwandbahn is located right in Riezlern and takes you to the cross-border hiking area around Kanzelwand and Fellhorn. You can easily reach the valley station by Walserbus. The other mountain railways in the Kleinwalsertal are also well connected to the bus network.
Can I transport my mountain bike with the mountain railway ticket?
No. ‘Bergbahn Unlimited’ is valid for pedestrians only. The ticket does not include the carriage of mountain bikes, paragliders or other sports equipment.
When is the mountain railway ticket valid?
The offer is valid during the summer season. At the Alpenhof Jäger, the mountain railway ticket is included from May to November. Operating hours vary depending on the mountain railway and weather conditions. For 2026, the operator has specified the period from 30 April to 8 November for ‘Bergbahn Unlimited’.
